Implementation of source localization algorithms and application in real environment with LabVIEW software and NI USRP platforms

Abstract

The aim of this project is to present an experimental verification in real en-vironment of algorithms to estimate direction of arrival (DOA) of an incident RF (Radio Frequency) source. To do so, we present two di˙erent approaches, The first is multiple signal classification (MUSIC) and the second is a conventionnel estimation of signal angle direction (Bartlett) , both approaches are implemented on a National Instruments (NI) USRP platforms, and the algorithms are setup in LabView NI software.
