dc.descriptionEcole Nationale Polytechnique (ENP) is an academic and research institution where thousands of Engineers and PhDs have been educated during the last 6 decades. Its alumna and alumnus have had a positive impact on industry and science all over the world. ENP aims to disseminate high-quality academic work to contribute to technology and science advances for humanity. The ENP Engineering Science journal (ENPESJ) is a peer-reviewed open-access journal. It publishes reviews and full original researchpapers covering all aspects of recent advances in engineering. The journal would focus also on technology with industry applications, it plans to publish special issues on up-to-date emerging technologies and new research directions. ENPESJ promotes Open Science through truly free open access peer-reviewed journal articles. The ENP engineering science journal is published online with a frequency of two issues per year.fr_FR
dc.description.abstractIssue 2 of Volume 5 brings together a diverse collection of original research papers that reflect the breadth and evolving impact of contemporary engineering science. The issue opens with a reflective contribution highlighting a new chapter in the legacy of engineering science, setting the tone for the multidisciplinary works that follow. Several papers address modeling, analysis, and control of complex systems, including stochastic reliability assessment of tall structures, fractional-order control of robotic manipulators, and advanced control strategies for power quality improvement. Environmental and energy-related challenges are also explored through studies on urban runoff under changing climatic conditions and woody biomass cogeneration applied to industrial processes. In parallel, the issue features cutting-edge contributions in signal processing, artificial intelligence, and diagnostics, such as food freshness evaluation using CLIP-based architectures, independent vector analysis methods, and intelligent fault diagnosis of transformer oil. Altogether, this issue presents both theoretical advances and practical applications, underscoring the role of engineering research in addressing modern technological and societal challenges.fr_FR
