dc.description.abstract | Geographical Information System (GIS) has become an indispensable tool for managing, analyzing and decision making by seamlessly combining both s patial and non-spatial data. Semantically enriched vision of GIS, particularly IoT-oriented GIS, will help evolve cities into tomorrow’s smart cities by providing better decisions, more efficiency and improved collaboration. This document presents the design and implementation, in a production environment, of an IoT-oriented Web GIS built from a combination of open source software.
