dc.description.abstract | Algeria is one of the many countries that face difficulties in managing water resources, especially surface water resources. Therefore, it can be practical to focus on remote sensing technologies, which has been recognized as one of the best modern techniques to provide spatio-temporal data available with remarkable accuracy. The present project aims to integrate the use of remote sensing products, such as SAR images, in monitoring the variations of the parameters that characterize the reservoirs (water levels, areas, and stored volumes). In this study, an approach is developed and successfully tested on a study area located in the northern part of the country covering 13 dam reservoirs and monitoring these parameters over a period of two (02) years | fr_FR |
