dc.description.abstract This study explores the impact of varying electrical currents on the microstructure and mechanical properties of steel welds, utilizing the Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) method. Experiments were conducted using currents of 280A, 310A, 350A, and 390A. The welded samples underwent macroscopic and microscopic examinations, mechanical tests (microhardness and tensile tests), and advanced analyses using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD). The results demonstrate that increasing welding current significantly affects the microstructural transformations and mechanical behavior of the welds. This research provides valuable insights for optimizing welding parameters to enhance the quality and performance of steel welds. fr_FR
