dc.description.abstract The ultimate goal of this project is to develop a numerical simulation approach to study the feasibility of the hybridization of the LGMD solar-natural gas heating system using OpenStudio. The approach consists of establishing the relationship between the system’s pertinent performance parameters mainly the solar fraction (SF), primary energy savings ratio (PESR), levelized cost of heat (LCOH) and the design parameters. An optimal design was obtained for the SF, PESR and LCOH having the values 39.2%, 32.2% and 9.56 DA/kWh respectively fr_FR
